Sync active clients

My timer sync continues to show all clients - even those that have been deleted or archived. Is there a way to only show active clients?

If I am not mistaken, this was rised already before in the forum and the conclusion was that the FreshBooks does not give a clue about the client status and it returns all of them. I just checked the API page and there is still no flag about the client's state. In case they add that to the API, it would be possible to filter only active clients.
