Security alerts

The trial download triggers both the Chrome warning (not common download) which i can just ignore as well as this reputation alert in Symantec:

http://securityresponse.symantec.com/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2010-051308-1854-99

which on default HP notebook setup there seems to be no (easy) way to ignore. But i am new to windows and potentially miss something.

(Windows 8, non-pro single language licence)

Karsten, thanks for your feedback and for letting me know about the issue. I'll certainly try to do what's in my power to remedy the problem, but this will take time.

If you still have issues downloading the program, try with this version: http://timersync.com/downloads/timerSyncSetup-2.1.0.17.zip

It is a zipped/compressed version and antivirus programs will probably be less restrictive. You'd have to unzip it before installing.

Hopefully this will help.

Avast also has a problem and blocks download. I have reported it to them as a false positive ;)
